Waterfowl Day

Water and blinds are already on the Liberal ground. We do not offer waterfowl at La Cygne.

What is included

• Blind on water set the evening before
• Decoys and calling
• Field transport and bird cleaning

What you bring

• Missouri small game permit, Migratory Bird Permit, and a federal duck stamp
• Shotgun, non-toxic shot, waders
• Blaze orange is not required in the blind, but bring it for the walk in during deer season

In camp

• On-site gunsmith and range. A gunsmith is part of the venture and on the property. Scope knocked off, extractor issue, zero check before the hunt: handled at the range on site, usually the same day.
• Skinning, cleaning and processing. We skin, clean and process your game and get the meat cooled and packed for the drive home. Bird cleaning is included on every bird hunt.
• Taxidermist drop-off. We cape your buck or prep your bird and deliver it to a local taxidermist we work with, so you leave with a receipt instead of a cooler of hide.
• Cabin, laundry, hot shower, covered parking. The cabin sleeps two and goes to the first booked each week. Covered parking, laundry and a hot shower are open to every hunter in camp.

Deposit and cancellation

• Your deposit holds your dates. The balance is due when you arrive.
• Deposits are not refundable. Cancel 30 or more days before your hunt and the full deposit moves to another date within 12 months.
• Cancel inside 30 days and the deposit is forfeited. Weather does not change this.
• Groups of 4 or more save 10%. Youth under 16 hunt at half price with a paying adult.
• Lodging: the cabin sleeps two and goes to the first hunters booked each week. Others stay in Lamar, 15 minutes away; we send the motel list with your confirmation.
